1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Advisor Assistant, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using this service. These terms apply to all users including insurance advisors, LIC agents, and MDRT professionals.

2. Description of Service

Advisor Assistant provides a cloud-based customer relationship management (CRM) platform specifically designed for insurance professionals. The service includes:

• Customer and lead management
• Policy tracking and documentation
• Premium due reminders and payment recording
• Document vault and secure storage
• WhatsApp message templates
• Activity timeline and follow-up management
• Data export and backup capabilities

3. User Accounts

Account Creation

To use Advisor Assistant, you must create an account by providing accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Account Security

• You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
• You are responsible for all actions taken through your account
• We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized account access
• You must use strong passwords and enable two-factor authentication when available

4. User Responsibilities

As a user of Advisor Assistant, you agree to:

• Use the service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in your account
• Respect the intellectual property rights of Advisor Assistant and third parties
• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Not use the service to transmit harmful code, spam, or malicious content
• Comply with all insurance industry regulations and data protection laws

5. Subscription Plans and Billing

Free Trial

New users receive a 30-day Premium trial with full access to all features. No payment information is required during the trial period. The trial automatically expires after 30 days unless upgraded to a Premium subscription.

Premium Subscription

Premium subscriptions provide unlimited access to all Advisor Assistant features. Pricing and billing frequency are displayed on our Pricing page and may be updated with reasonable notice.

Automatic Renewal

Premium subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You authorize us to charge your payment method for renewal at the then-current subscription rate.

Payment Processing

Payments are securely processed through Razorpay. By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method and authorize us to charge all fees incurred.

6. Cancellation and Access

After Subscription Expiry

When your Premium subscription expires:

• Your account enters read-only mode
• You can view all your data but cannot add or edit information
• You can download backups of all your data
• Your data is preserved for 90 days
• You can access Profile, Subscription, and Backup pages

Reactivation

To reactivate your subscription after expiry, contact our Billing team at billing@advisorassistant.in or WhatsApp +91 9717318495. Self-service resubscription is not currently available.

7. Intellectual Property

The Advisor Assistant service, including its design, features, functionality, and all content, is owned by Advisor Assistant and is protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain all rights to the data and content you upload to Advisor Assistant. We claim no intellectual property rights over your customer information, policies, or documents.

8. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable, uninterrupted service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Advisor Assistant may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance and updates
• Technical issues or system failures
• Third-party service disruptions
• Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of scheduled maintenance and minimize service interruptions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Advisor Assistant and its affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Service interruptions or technical failures
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Actions of third-party services we integrate with

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Advisor Assistant is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. You use the service at your own risk.

11. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Use the service for illegal or fraudulent purposes
• Fail to pay subscription fees
• Engage in abusive behavior toward our staff or other users
• Attempt to circumvent security measures or access restrictions

Upon termination, you may download your data within 30 days. After this period, your data will be permanently deleted.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Advisor Assistant shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the application. Your continued use of Advisor Assistant after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
